Almost one month of being back and the Job  hunt is in progress. I've reached out to a few companies to make contacts and hopefully start establishing a network at the very least but it is very much still a waiting game as well. I am waiting for word back on a part time job that I interviewed for last week that will be a step in the right direction and I look forward to that.

Besides the networking and sending out cover letters and resume's however though I am also planning and starting work on what I hope to be a set of paintings that will be turned into a calendar. Hopefully this is something I can have done in time for 2011 but time will tell. Big thing for me right now is to just keep moving forward.

Not to leave out the impressions that the demonstrations of their new software Storyboard and Animate which are definitely very powerful and incredible packages that I have no doubts to becoming industry standards in animation software along with several other of their products. Am going to see if there are any options open for me to actually become ToonBoom certified.

- a visit from a friend
- a trip up to Roy Lake, SD to see family
- Working time in Maya
- getting this website operational and functioning
- doing a couple character designs for a friend
- start a new digital painting
